Issue Description:
Cannot list backups for Database from DB client with alternate name due to restriction on Netbackup as by default, NetBackup permits only the client that backed up the files to restore those files. NetBackup ensures that the client name of the requesting client matches the peer name that was used to connect to the NetBackup server.
Error: “client is not validated to perform the requested operation”
Accepted Solution:
To overcome the problem
a. Create a folder <Netbackup install path>\NetBackup\db\altnames on the Netbackup master server.
b. Create a file named “No.Restrictions”. (Note file name must not have any other extensions like .txt)
